PORT OF LAZARO CARDENAS INCREASES 13% IN CONTAINED CARGO MOVEMENT AS OF AUGUST

Port of Lazaro Cardenas, october 22th, 2019. The Port Lázaro Cárdenas presented an increase in the 13% containerized cargo movement in August, registering an operation of 905 thousand 449 TEUs against 800 thousand 537 TEUs managed in the same period of 2018.

INCREASE 3% AUTOMOTIVE CARGO IN PUERTO LAZARO CARDENAS TO THE MONTH OF AUGUST

THE LAZARO CARDENAS PORT PRESENTS A 7% INCREASE IN AUGUST IN TOTAL LOAD

Port of Lazaro Cardenas, september 27th, 2019. The Lazaro Cardenas Port presented a 7% increase in the total cargo movement at the end of August. With the operation of 21 million 752 thousand 521 tons, exceeding 20 million 332 thousand 145 tons operated during the same cycle of the previous year.

The operation by type of load was distributed according to what is shown in the following graph: As of August, the arrival of ships was 1,100 vessels, 9% higher than the 1,006 received in the same period of 2018, with 84% corresponding to high-traffic vessels and 16% to cabotage vessels.

PORT OF LAZARO CARDENAS PARTICIPATES SUCCESSFULLY IN THE XXV ANNUAL CONGRESS OF SHIPPING AGENTS OF AMANAC

Port of Lazaro Cardenas, september 19th, 2019. The Sub-Committee on the Promotion of Puerto Lázaro Cárdenas, participated successfully in the XXV Annual Congress of Shipping Agents, an event organized by the Mexican Association of Shipping Agents A.C. (AMANAC) in the port of Acapulco, Guerrero.

Headed by the General Director of the Integral Port Administration of Lázaro Cárdenas, Engineer Raúl Antonio Correa Arenas and the members of the Promotion Subcommittee, they attended in a personalized way, presented the services and logistical advantages for the different types of cargo and attention to the vessels to through a promotional stand that allows direct attention to leaders in the maritime port sector.
